I work overnight and I recieved a call from a good friend of mine from California at about 2:30a this morning. Asking for prayer for a young girl who has fought cancer and was ijust rececently told was in remission. In Nov, her best friend wrote this in her mother's blog.

"A little over a year and a half ago, Briana was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. The cancer was at stage four when discovered, and the tumor was located in the right region of her chest, squeezing her airway almost completely shut and at the same time squeezing a nerve. The squeezed nerve and airway caused her face to swell and her breathing to become very labored. Briana, though the doctor's reports were anything but encouraging, continued to let her light shine for all to see. People drew strength from her attitude, optimism, and faith. She and her family would speak to other patients and families going through much of the same difficulties they themselves were facing. they ministered to the hearts of those who were looking for some solid ground to stand on when disease, a silent and demanding intruder, invaded the seemingly impermeable lives they lived. Briana never sat down to feel pity for herself, but rather, took up the banner of a child of God who would serve in the most difficult of times. "

Chantel called me at 2:30a said that Briana started having a seizer and her parents took her to the hospital. They found a tumor in her brain and she was undergoing emergency brain surgery this morning which is very dangerous. I don't know any more details.

I'm asking to keep her in prayer. I have never personally met Briana but my heart has gone out to this young girl who is only 15 years old. I also fought cancer and so I have a special place for young people who are sick. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PRAY!!!!!

     Ok So my niece, Aurora just adores Hannah Montana and for a while I was fine with it.  Miley Cyrus seem innocent and all but the more I heard about her the more I don't like her.  I wouldn't normally post anything about stars but since all I hear from Aurora is Hannah Montana this and Miley Cyrus that.  When I read this article it made my blood boil!  I'll tell you one thing is if I ever disobeyed my pastor then giggled after he lectured me... I would rather see Jesus then deal with Him!  Disrespecting a man of God is not smart.  Plus I want to point out an oxymoron she is dating a 20 year old (she 16) underwear christian model...umm WWJD?????  I also want to say that I'm proud of Mary who teaches a young group of girls who put her foot down about Miley in her sunday school class... I must say I still LOVE that story!!!!  You go girl!

Miley Cyrus Lectured by Pastor for Texting Boyrfriend in Church

 Miley Cyrus was lectured by her church pastor for sending text messages to her boyfriend.

The 16-year-old ‘Hannah Montana’ star and model Justin Gatson, 20, reportedly infuriated the minister by communicating through their mobile phones during a service at their place of worship in Montrose, California.

Despite the age difference between Miley and Justin, the singer-and-actress says her family approve of their relationship because the underwear model is “a good Christian guy”.

Miley said: “Our families are like, 'Whatever happens, happens'. If he's nothing but a really good friend, that's awesome.

"More than anything, he has really helped me move on from a lot of things. He's a really great Christian guy. He's gone through stuff, and I've gone through stuff, and everyone goes through that.”
